GET INVOLVED

Golden Alliance Company provides permanent housing services for veterans. We focus on providing stable, long-term housing options for individuals who have served in the military, especially those who are facing or at risk of homelessness. These services aim to help veterans regain independence and integrate back into civilian life by offering a safe, supportive, and permanent living environment. Here's an overview of what such services typically include:

1. Transitional Housing to Permanent Housing

We begin by offering transitional housing for veterans who are temporarily homeless or struggling to stabilize. The goal is to provide a safe space while veterans work on securing a permanent living situation. Once a veteran is ready, they are moved to permanent housing, where they can live without the uncertainty of moving from place to place.

2. Supportive Housing Programs

Permanent supportive housing combines affordable housing with wraparound services. This can include:

Case management: A caseworker helps the veteran address issues such as mental health, addiction, and financial stability.
Counseling services: Veterans receive assistance with emotional and psychological challenges, including PTSD, which is common among veterans.
Job training and employment assistance: Helping veterans develop skills and find employment to support themselves long-term.
Life skills training: Programs that teach how to budget, maintain a home, and engage in the community.

Veterans that live in our permanent housing recieve 3 meals a day.

3. Permanent Housing for Homeless Veterans

Special programs like the VA's Homeless Veterans Program focus on helping veterans who are chronically homeless or at risk of homelessness. The goal is to provide a permanent solution to homelessness with no time limits, meaning once a veteran is placed in housing, they can stay as long as needed.
These veterans receive 3 meals a day included in their rent.

4. Collaboration with Local Housing Authorities

Our organization offer permanent housing services for veterans and we often partner with local housing authorities, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and nonprofit organizations to ensure the veteran’s needs are met. These partnerships allow for better access to services, such as healthcare, legal aid, and social support.

5 Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH)

This joint program between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Veterans Affairs (VA) provides rental assistance vouchers to veterans experiencing homelessness. Veterans can use these vouchers to cover rent our facilities with case management and support services offered to ensure stability.

The Impact:

The goal of permanent housing services for veterans is not just to give them a roof over their heads but to ensure they have the resources and support to thrive. It aims to reduce homelessness, foster long-term stability, and help veterans reintegrate into society with dignity and independence.
